Sister Says: Part 1 (Face it, there's going to be more...)

My family and I often claim that my sister, Ashlee, could have her own dictionary. These are a few additions:

#1 CHOCOLATE = CAKE BATTER

I've often been faced with the dilemma of ice cream shops NOT having plain chocolate ice cream. It's always the new, rad flavors. Ashlee has told me over and over that red velvet tastes like chocolate. One time, I finally caved and heeded her advice.
It did NOT taste like chocolate. When I told her so and told her that it tasted like cake batter, she replied, "Yeah! That's what I meant."

#2 - TARANTULA  = ANY SPIDER

One time, Ashlee ran out of the bathroom claiming that there was a tarantula. You can imagine the kind of horrible creature I thought up.

After calming down some, we cautiously peered into the bathroom. Can you guess what we found?

You see that black dot? That was the "tarantula".

#3 -  RHINOCEROS = DINOSAUR

I often work crossword puzzles. One time, I was given the clue, "Predator of a lion and a tiger." Always liking more than one brain, I asked Ashlee what she thought it was.
After a few moments, she replied, "Rhinoceros! That's a dinosaur!"

(To her credit, she face-palmed after saying this.)
